The Open Letter to the President of U.S.A.
Dear Mr. President,
The World Association of former Czechoslovak Political Prisoners, located in the Slovak Republic, associating former dissenters of communism and victims of the Stalin´s “gulags”, condemned the terrorist attacks of 11th September 2001 and supported your election as the President of the USA in a declaration published on the Internet:
http://www.fragmenty.cz/!27 Sv%C4%9Btov%C3%A1 odveta.htm .
Communist courts gave long prison sentences to many of our members for their activities which were, effectively life sentences. Our only hope in those hopeless times was the US President Ronald Reagan who said to the whole world that America would not make culpable and careless mistakes anymore like those of Yalta or Postupim, neither will they be pillorying and condemning communism, but simply send them where they belong, to the scrap heap of history together with all of their evil.
Contrary to the wrong prognosis of Henry Kissinger, the political scientist Zbiegniev Brzezinsky presumed that like a leprosy-stricken man loses parts of his body, the satellites countries of the USSR will fall apart and it will ultimately fall apart as a whole.
Ronald Reagan became the biggest American of all time and his name has been engraved in history forever. His policies brought freedom to millions of people reduced to slavery behind the iron curtain. Now these people can travel all over Europe in search of work without fear of being killed on the borders.
Dear Mr. President, we wish with all our hearts that you comprehend the following critical words as the sincere endeavor of communist victims worried about the present politics of America, their startling discrediting, loss of support and trust in the world which has resulted in a wave of anti-Americanism and taints the picture of America which we have always perceived as a symbol of freedom and democracy.
The increasing anti-American moods have also been reflected in the performance of our American POWs section, http://szcpv.org/04/pamat.html, searching for over 25000 missing American citizens, victims of the Cold War who ended up in communist “gulags” and prison camps established during the wars in Korea and Vietnam.
Unfortunately, Ronald Reagan would have to cry bitterly over the present state of the U.S.A. and American dollar, eight years after your election.
We trusted you that the war in Iraq was necessary because of the threat of chemical and biological weapons. However, time has shown that it was not the truth.
We believed that the savage act of 11th September was an attack from the outside. However there are now urgent unanswered questions from startling documentary films like:
Richard Gage, a member of the American Institute of Architects the American Institute of Architects http://www.ae911truth.org/, has founded an organization called: Architects and Civil Engineers for the truth of 9/11, associating architects, static engineers and building experts joined by millions of people calling for a new revision of events of 11th September. The Washington Post daily cited a survey of September 2006 that showed that 16% of Americans think that the collapse of WTC was caused by a controlled demolition using explosives.
As millions of American people, we also trusted you that the war in Iraq would bring lower oil prices. What will the price of oil be after your planned bombardment of Iran?
We trusted you that the elections in 2004 were not rigged.
Dear Mr. President, these are the most burning issues that worry us and for which we feel very sorry, in particular the world-wide loss of trust of the US, the devaluation of the dollar which, under President Reagan was at its historic maximum and which, now, after eight years of your government, is changing into a valueless currency.
Dear Mr. President, if you care at least a little about the message of the main architect of American policy, the biggest Republican Ronald Reagan and don’t intend to definitely bury the Republican party in the elections of 2008, if you really care about the wealth of US citizens whom you harmed by the devalued foreign policy and currency of the US and if you are a man of strong character, there is only one thing you can do for the benefit of America, to voluntarily resign from the function of the President of the U.S.A., for the road you have chosen, is the road to perdition.
